A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of supplying a firearm by detectives investigating the murder of a police officer.
Sgt Matiu Ratana, from Goring, died in hospital on Friday after being shot by handcuffed suspect was being taken into custody in Croydon.
The arrest of a man on suspicion of supplying a firearm was made in Norwich at 2am this morning.
Sgt Ratana died in hospital after a 23-year-old gunman opened fire at Croydon Custody Centre in south London in the early hours of Friday.
The suspect, who had been arrested for possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply and possession of ammunition, also shot himself during the incident at about 2.15am and is in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
