AN ABUSIVE thug harassed a woman immediately after being released from prison.
Matthew Douglas had been jailed over offences and released on licence.
But the 43-year-old was found in St Marks Close, Bexhill, where he caused harassment, alarm and distress to a woman.
He was also found in possession of cannabis.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court he admitted his latest offences.
Douglas, of Glynde Avenue, Eastbourne, was sent back to prison for 18 weeks.
The court heard how he had “offended upon release from prison”.
His offences were made more serious because of his previous criminal record.
Magistrates ordered him to pay a £128 surcharge and £85 costs.
