A PEDESTRIAN was struck by a cyclist and suffered serious injuries.
The 65-year-old woman was walking in Crabtree Lane in Lancing on September 11 between 11.15am and 11.45am.
She suffered serious leg injuries and was taken to Worthing Hospital. A 30-year-old man on a bicycle was unhurt. Anyone with information should email collission.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk and quote 490 of 11/09.
Sussex Police said: “We want to speak to anyone who saw a collision in Lancing in which a woman was seriously injured.
“Between 11.15am and 11.45am on Friday, September 11 the 65-year-old pedestrian was in collision with a 30-year-old man riding a pedal cycle, outside the Mayfair Hair salon in Crabtree Lane, Lancing.
“She sustained serious leg injuries and was taken to Worthing Hospital for treatment.”
