A CHARITY supporting the homeless and people battling addictions received a £500 police donation.
Crawley Open House was given the cash from the Gatwick Police Prevention Team.
The money comes from the Police Property Act Fund, made from money received by the sale of lost property, or seized criminal property.
Crawley Open House uses a community outreach team to work with vulnerable people on a daily basis.
The money will be used to purchase items such as food and drink, bus and train tickets, clothing, and cheap mobile phones – all of which can avert the crisis faced by these vulnerable people, and help them with the relationship building process.
