THE SON of Only Fools And Horses star Nicholas Lyndhurst has died aged 19 following a short illness.

Actor Archie Bijörn Lyndhurst was discovered at his family home in Fulham last week.

The circumstances of his death are "non-suspicious," according to reports.

Archie's mother Lucy paid an emotional tribute to her son underneath an Instagram post from Game of Thrones star, Samuel Small.

She said: "He will love you and watch over you forever."

Actors across the globe have begun paying tribute to the teenager, who was a regular on children's channel CBBC. 

His breakthrough part came as Ollie Coulton in the children's sitcom So Awkward.

Alongside a picture of the pair, Samual Small wrote as part of a lengthy Instagram post: "To my brother Archie, I still can’t quite comprehend that you have passed.

"You still had so much life to live and I’d give anything for you to keep on living it.

"My heart aches all day and everyday thinking about you and I just wish I could talk to you just one more time so you could know how much I loved you."

The CBBC star is the son of Only Fools and Horses actor Nicholas Lyndhurst, who lives in Sussex.

Nicholas Lyndhurst, who played Del Boy's dippy brother, had lived in the coastal village of West Wittering, West Sussex, for over 20 years, before it was reported that he had moved.

An inquest into Archie's death will be held next week.

Channel X North, the independent production company that makes So Awkward, said in a statement: "We are deeply shocked and saddened to hear the news about our friend Archie.

"He was an incredibly talented performer and his contribution to So Awkward, on and off screen, will not be forgotten.

"As well as hilarious, he was a generous, kind-hearted young man who we had the honour to work with on the show for seven years.

"Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time."
