A TEENAGE killer, a paedophile teacher and a gun-toting motorbike robber were among those jailed for crimes in Sussex in September.

The Argus reported on the case of Trent Hutchinson, 17, and won the right to identify him after he was found guilty of killing best friend Ollie Wells, 18, in Elphick Road, Newhaven, in January.

Hutchinson was jailed for life, with a minimum term of 14 years.

Meanwhile Jack Chambers was jailed for being on a motorbike with a BB gun and threatening a man to hand over his belongings.

The 19-year-old of Holtye Avenue, East Grinstead, was jailed for three years for the “terrifying” robbery on a man walking home from work.

Kamil Kaminski, 22, of Elmore Road, Brighton, was jailed for a range of offences including a brutal attack on a man outside the Co-op in St James’s Street, Brighton.

He was sentenced to 42 weeks in prison for assault, taking a vehicle without consent, riding without a valid licence and without valid insurance.

Burglar Michael Stonestreet was caught red-handed in Eastbourne. Footage showed him taking items from a building site.

The 32-year-old, of Butts Field, Hailsham, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for his crimes.

Dangerous driver Tyler Mighall caused chaos after crashing into four parked vehicles following a police chase.

The 21-year-old, of Little High Street, Shoreham, crashed in Lancing while high on drugs and intoxicated with alcohol.

He was jailed for three years and ten months.

Jordan Ross was jailed for offences in Eastbourne including robbery, and a domestic violence attack.

The 25-year-old, of Pevensey Road, Eastbourne, also admitted punching a police officer in the face and was jailed for a total of 18 months.

Paedophile former headmaster of Christ’s Hospital School Peter Webb was back in court for sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy there in the past.

The 77-year-old, of Authon-Ebeon in France, had another year added to his existing sentence for historic abuse against children.
