TWO teenagers were arrested after a security guard discovered cannabis and drug paraphernalia on a university campus.

Police were called to the University of Sussex ‘s East Slope accommodation on its Falmer campus on Monday night.

Several police vehicles were seen parked in the road as officers attended the scene.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “We were called to the student accommodation in Park Village Road, Brighton, on Monday evening after a security guard found a quantity of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

“A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and later released under investigation.

“An 18-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis. She was questioned and later accepted a caution.”
