PARENTS are being invited to sign up children for free football sessions this autumn.
McDonald’s and the Football Association are running the events in Brighton and Hove over half term.
Sessions will be run at Hove Park on 3G pitches and at the University of Sussex, Falmer.
Coronavirus safety measures will be in place.
Sussex McDonald’s director Yas Turen said: “It’s an honour to bring these sessions back to Brighton and Hove this Autumn. I’ve supported local grassroots football for a long time and know how important it is to get kids playing again, socialising and being active.
“Through our Fun Football programme we are proudly providing 5 million hours of football for children and introducing more than half a million new players to the game by 2022.”
The scheme is for children aged five to 11, regardless of ability, who may have missed out on trying the sport because of family money worries. Visit: mcdonalds.co.uk/funfootball.
