A MOTORCYCLIST died after colliding with a car before hitting a van parked at the side of the A29.
The 50-year-old man's black Aprilia motorcycle collided with the car at Fairmile Bottom, near Slindon.
The bike then crashed into a dark coloured Ford Transit parked in a layby on the opposite carriageway.
He was declared dead at the scene after the collision at about 3pm on Wednesday.
The car driver, a 30-year-old man from Storrington, was uninjured and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Police have appealed for witnesses.
