POLICE are appealing for information after a man went missing from his home two weeks ago.

Matthew Bursey, 35, from Exning in West Suffolk, was last seen at his home address on Thursday 1 October and has not been seen since.

It is believed he may have travelled to the Sussex area.

He is described as slim build, brown hair and was wearing a navy waist-length jacket with navy chinos and brown trainers.

Writing on Facebook, Matthew's mother Chris Bursey, appealed to members of the public to come forward if they had any information.

She said: "On Thursday 1st October my 34-year-old son parked at Birling Gap car park at Beachy Head.

"He arrived between 11.00 am and 12noon and got a car park ticket for an hour.

"He took his phone (now dead) and wallet - bank cards not been used.

"He was wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes. There is no evidence that he jumped.

"If you remember seeing him please call the police or missingpeople.org who have his poster."
