A CAR was badly damaged when it flipped on to its roof in a crash.
The orange hatchback came to rest on its roof on the pavement off London Road in Brighton, near Withdean Park following a collision with another car.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene shortly after 11.40 am yesterday.
A passerby said the crash looked "serious".
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "No persons were trapped.
"One person was handed in to the care of the South East Coast Ambulance service. We left the scene at 11:58am."
