A TEENAGE boy has been charged after a disturbance at a shopping centre.
Essex Police were called out to Lakeside Shopping Centre yesterday.
There were reports of a disturbance at a shop where a knife was seen.
A man was arrested at the scene.
Henry Makina, 18, from Bellflower Path in Romford has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and possession of cannabis.
He has been released on bail to appear at Southend Magistrates' Court on 19 January 2021.
