SUSSEX is under two weather warnings as Storm Barbara smashes Britain with 65mph gales and torrential rain.
The Met Office says residents should prepare for disrupted travel and flooding, issuing a Yellow warning for wind and rain until 2pm.
Bus and train services will probably be affected with journey times taking longer.
Spray and flooding on the county's roads are also set to increase travel times.
"Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible," a spokesman for the Met Office said.
About 10-15mm of rain will fall widely, however some areas could be hit with as much as 30-50mm in a period of around three to six hours.
People are being told to expect gusts of 45 to 55mph inland and 65mph near the coast.
