The force launched a day of action against antisocial driving in Wealden on Friday and found they were faced a busy 24 hours.

Acting on intelligence, officers stopped a car suspected of being involved in crime and made two arrests.

Two Traffic Offence Reports were issued to drivers with a noisy motorcycle exhaust, and another vehicle was seized as it was being driven with no insurance

“This initiative heralds the start of a consistent approach to targeting irresponsible drivers across Wealden.

“I know this initiative will be welcomed by the public and will no doubt contribute to improve road safety in our area.”
