A FORMER boxing champion is Argos's newest delivery man.

Chris Eubank, former world-middleweight champion and US police marshal, is set to deliver to the doors of lucky gamers to mark the launch of a new console.

Teaming up with a team of ex-boxers, he will be delivering the "stupendously powerful" Xbox Series X console to competition winners next Tuesday.

Mr Eubank said: “As one of the fastest and most powerful boxers in history, it only feels natural to deliver one of these mighty consoles more quickly than anyone else is able to…beating them to the punch, if you will.

"This year has been a tough one, and I’m stupendously excited to be teaming up with my fellow ex-boxers to give winners across the nation a truly champion experience."

It is not yet known which other boxers will be taking part in the promotion.
