THREE convicts have gone missing from a prison in less than a month.
Clayton McCalman is the latest person to abscond from Ford Prison, near Arundel.
The 32-year-old left the prison between 5am and noon on Monday and police say his “direction of travel is unknown”.
Anyone who sees McCalman is being urged not to approach him but call 999 immediately. He is known to have strong links to London, but it is not known where he went after leaving the prison.
Sussex Police have issued an image of him, above, and asked anyone who might have information on his whereabouts to report this online or call 101 quoting serial 0607 of 02/11.
McCalman is the third convict to abscond from Ford Prison in less than a month.
Jay Davis left the site on October 12. The 33-year-old, who was serving a sentence for possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, was arrested by armed police at a campsite in Telscombe on October 24.
