A CAR was seized after the driver was found to have committed a string of offences.
Officers from Sussex Roads Police stopped the vehicle in Worthing after a short chase at about 9pm yesterday.
They found the driver was in possession of cannabis, as well as being in breach of the new national lockdown coronavirus restrictions as he had two girls from different households in the car with him, both under the age of 16.
PC Glen McArthur of Sussex Roads Police was one of the officers to attend the scene.
He said: "After a little chase, this driver was dealt with for no licence, insurance, MOT, tax, possession of cannabis oh and breaching Covid restrictions with his two female passengers under the age of 16.
"One menace off the road for the time being."
He also shared an image of the car, a Mini Cooper, being carried away on the back of a removal lorry.
The officer has been contacted for further details.
