Brighton and Hove Buses will continue to follow current timetables during lockdown.

Brighton and Hove Buses and Metrobus have reassured customers there will be no changes to bus services during the second national lockdown.

Buses will follow the current timetables to take people to work, school or wherever else they need.

The bus company’s travel shops at 1 Stop Travel in North Street, Brighton and reception at Conway Street, Hove will remain open.

Brighton and Hove Buses’ managing director Martin Harris said: “I’d like to reassure people that we are doing everything we can to make our services as safe as possible, with extra bus cleaning and hand sanitiser, limits on bus capacity and seats blocked off to enable social distancing.

“Customers can also play their part to protect fellow passengers, our drivers and themselves.

“When you get on the bus, please wear a face covering – unless you are exempt – and keep it on, covering your nose and mouth for your entire journey.

“Please also be understanding towards those people who cannot wear a face covering.

“Social distancing is still very important and that’s why we have blocked off some seats.

“I know the weather is getting chillier but please keep the windows open to aid ventilation and wrap up warm.”
