A MAN'S death is being treated as unexplained by police after they were called to reports of a man having a heart attack in the early hours.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs following the incident in George Williams Mews, Portslade, this morning.
It has been reported to The Argus that a large number of police and ambulance crews attended the YMCA Brighton site in the road shortly before 5am.
YMCA Brighton said it would not be commenting on the incident.
Sussex Police confirmed a man had died during an incident in the area this morning.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Police were called to an address in George Williams Mews, Portslade, at 4.42am today to reports of a man in cardiac arrest.
"Emergency services attended the scene but the man was sadly pronounced dead.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
"Three people have been arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
"They remain in custody at this time.
