TRAINS are being delayed and cancelled due to "a passenger causing disturbance".
Travellers have been warned they must allow extra time to complete their journey after an incident on a train between Brighton and Three Bridges.
A spokesman for Southern Rail said: "Due to a passenger causing a disturbance on a train between Brighton and Three Bridges, the line towards Gatwick Airport is currently blocked.
"Services will be subject to delays and cancellations.
"Please allow extra time to complete your journey this evening.
"Services will be subject to delays and late notice alterations, please listen to live onboard & station announcements for the latest service information."
Disruption is expected until 5pm, the spokesman said.
