A WOMAN had to be taken to hospital after an assault left her with facial injuries.
Police are seeking to identify a man in connection with the attack on a woman in her 40s, which happened in Church Road in Burgess Hill, just after midnight on Wednesday, September 23.
Two people from Burgess Hill - a 21-year-old man and a 25-year-old man - were arrested on suspicion of affray, while a 19-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of affray, assaulting a person thereby causing actual bodily harm and obstructing or resisting a constable in execution of duty.
Officers would like to speak to the man, pictured, in connection with the assault.
Anyone who recognises him or witnessed the assault is asked to call police on 101, quoting reference 12 23/09.
