THE first coronavirus death in over a week has been recorded at Sussex Community Trust, the latest figures show.
NHS England figures show 20 people had died in hospital at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust as of 5pm on Sunday.
This was the first death in nine days.
One new coronavirus death has been recorded at East Sussex Trust over the weekend.
NHS England figures show 111 people had died in hospital at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust as of 5pm on Sunday (November 22).
It means there have been two deaths in the past week, down from four the previous week.
The victims were among 4,122 deaths recorded across the South East.
Only deaths that occur in hospitals where the patient has tested positive for Covid-19 are recorded, with deaths in the community excluded, such as those in care homes.
