The majority of the new sites to record an elevated rate after an increase in the number of weekly coronavirus cases are in East Sussex.
The number of positive tests has risen in several areas of Hailsham and Eastbourne.
Hailsham Central and East recorded the highest weekly coronavirus rate with 28 new cases in the seven days leading up to November 19.
This gave the area a rate of 448.4 new cases per 100,000 population.
In the data relating to the seven-day period leading up to November 9, eight of the 17 areas with a weekly coronavirus rate of more than 200 cases per 100,000 people were in Brighton and Hove.
In the most recent figures (November 12-19) there was only one.
This was Whitehawk where there were 19 weekly cases, giving a rate of 207.2 new cases per 100,000 population.
The figures, for the seven days to November 19, are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two).
The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.
Data for the most recent five days (November 20-24) has been excluded as it is likely to be incomplete and does not reflect the true number of cases.
