A THIEF who stole an expensive top-of-the-range cycle from a shop has been ordered to pay compensation.
Ashley Taylor raided D and D Cycles in Bognor and stole a Shan 24N bike worth more than £5,000.
He also stole a bike worth £300 from near the station.
Taylor, 26, of Albert Road, Bognor, appeared before Worthing Magistrates’ Court and admitted two counts of theft.
Magistrates ordered him to pay £320 in compensation.
He must also pay a £90 surcharge and £85 costs for the offences committed in April and July.
Taylor must also complete 15 rehabilitation sessions to address his offending.
