A YOUTUBE star is set to move out of her family home almost a year after it was put up for sale

Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Saffron Barker and her family are set to move out of their home in Woodingdean in a matter of weeks.

The house, which has now sold, was first listed on Zoopla in November 2019 for £800,000.

The Brighton-born social media star has told her YouTube followers that she is “upset” about leaving their six-bedroom home before Christmas.

Saffron said: “We might be moving out in two weeks, right before Christmas, which is not what we were planning to do at all.

“I can’t believe I might not be getting a last Christmas in our house.

“Honestly, I’ve been so upset about it.

“It’s really affected me, last year I was not thinking it might be my last Christmas.”

Saffron has often given her fans a glimpse into her home by posting snaps of herself posing in different rooms.

Estate agents Cubitt and West wrote in the property description on Zoopla: “Arguably one of the most impressive and exquisite homes you will find on the market today, this imposing detached home offers a array of features making it one of the most luxurious homes available to buy.

"Set in one of the most sought after roads in the area, this stunning home has been expertly decorated and extended over the years with the current finish one of magnificent quality throughout.

In September, the 20-year-old revealed that she had bought her first home.

She has however admitted that there is a lot of work still to be done to the property and that she will not be moving in anytime soon.

Instead, Saffron plans to relocate with her family until her property is ready.

She said: “My house isn’t done or anything yet, it still takes ages to sign the papers and everything else.

“I’m still going through the process, so I haven’t fully got my house yet.

“I will be moving out with my family soon.

“Hopefully moving to my house doesn’t take as long, because we’ve been looking at moving family home for about a year now.”
