A CITY centre road is closed and will remain shut for three days.
Queen's Road in Brighton will be blocked off by temporary plastic barriers while resurfacing work is carried out.
Diversions are in place to allow vehicles to access Brighton Station and other areas of the city.
A Brighton and Hove City Council spokesman said: "Queen's Road will be closed to vehicles between the junctions of North Road and North Street from December 1 to December 3 for resurfacing work.
"Please follow the diversions."
As a result of the road closure, Brighton and Hove Buses services will be subject to slight alterations.
A spokesman for the bus company said: "From Tuesday December 1 until Thursday December 3, inclusive, Queen's Road in Brighton will be closed in both directions.

"During this time services will divert via Dyke Road, Buckingham Road and Upper Gloucester Road in both directions.
"Service 6 will need to divert via Montpelier Road to Seven Dials, turning down Buckingham Place and onto Terminus road to the station.
"Services towards Downs Park will do the above diversion is opposite direction."
