A MAN was “forced into a car” outside a Tesco Express store.

Police were called to Downland Drive, Crawley, shortly after 5.30pm yesterday.

Officers were responding to reports of a young man being forced into a car coloured car outside the supermarket store.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers are conducting an area search and carrying out fast-time enquiries to try and establish the full circumstances of the matter.

“Anyone who saw what happened or who has any information is asked to contact police online or by calling 101 quoting serial 967 of 30/11.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
