EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a serious crash.
The A26 Eridge Road, near Crowborough, is closed both ways from The Forstal to Groombridge Lane. There is very slow traffic in the area after an accident involving two vehicles at about 2.30pm.
According to the AA, an air ambulance has attended, as well as paramedics, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and Sussex Police.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area and some bus services have been diverted.

A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: "Police are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on the A26 between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells.
"The road has been closed between Boarshead roundabout and The Forstal.
"Please avoid the area if you can.
"No further details are available at this time."
