KILLERS, a paedophile, and a biting bike thief were among those put behind bars last month.
Daniel Macleod, 37, was found guilty of stabbing 22-year-old Abdul Deghayes to death in Elm Grove, Brighton.

The drugs gang kingpin, of Gypsy Road, Lambeth, will serve life in prison for the murder which took place in February 2019, and admitted supplying class A drugs using the “Frank” line in Brighton.
Southwark Crown Court heard how Macleod had sought to “humiliate” Mr Deghayes by stabbing him in the back of the legs in the darkness outside Hanover Court flats.
Mr Deghayes was left dying in a pool of his own blood and could not be saved.
Bobby Smith and Daryl Richardson were jailed for life for the murder of Muhammed Lamin Jassey
Bobby Smith, 22, and Daryl Richardson 26, were jointly found guilty of killing 22-year-old Muhammed Jassey outside Kite Place West in Whitehawk Road, Brighton, in April this year.
Mr Jassey was stabbed once through the heart and collapsed nearby.
Both his killers were seen on CCTV wearing dark clothing on CCTV minutes before the attack.
Footage showed two hooded men running out of the flats to attack Mr Jassey, then fleeing back inside. Both men’s clothing had Mr Jassey’s blood on them.
The duo, formerly of Coolham Drive, Brighton and Cumberland Road, Southsea, respectively, were sentenced to life in prison.
Zakaria Yanaouri, 21, has been jailed for terror offences in Worthing
Zakaria Yanaouri, 21, of Congreve Road, Worthing, admitted possessing material likely to be of use to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, in breach of the Terrorism Act.
He was found to have videos showing executions and content glorifying Daesh (the so-called Islamic State) and was jailed for two years and eight months.
Ian Lewis stabbed a woman in Brighton after squabbling over a chess game
Dangerous stabber Ian Lewis was jailed for plunging a knife into Louise Bailey in Brighton.
The 57-year-old had mocked Ms Bailey’s chess ability before the board was upturned in a row.
He was previously jailed for a stabbing, and deemed a danger of committing similar violence in future. Lewis will serve an extended sentence of up to six years, with three years in custody and no immediate release after 18-months.
Robert Cole was seen stealing a student’s bicycle from a lock-up store in Gladstone Place
Prolific criminal Robert Cole was sentenced for stealing a bicycle frame in Gladstone Place, Brighton.
He also admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a security guard who challenged him over shoplifting in North Street, Brighton.
The security guard was bitten in the arm by 36-year-old Cole, of Morley Street, Brighton, who was jailed for one year.
Brighton sex offender Alan Neville Clarke has been sentenced to two years in prison
Paedophile Alan Clarke, 53, was jailed for two years for breaching a sexual harm prevention order that banned him looking at indecent images of children.
Clarke, of Leybourne Road, Brighton, had installed file-sharing software on his computer in breach of the order.
Fardin Farji stole sweets from shops in Worthing
Finally, Fardin Farji, 27, was jailed for 30 weeks for multiple thefts from shops in Worthing.
