CCTV images have been issued after thieves stole from a rural farm shop.

Police were called after £100 worth of items were taken from Runcton Farm Shop in Lagness Road, Chichester on December 10.

It included items from the pet shop and the site’s main shop.

Officers investigating believe a couple in their 50s may be able to help with enquiries.

The duo had a terrier dog with them.

Images show the man with short light coloured hair, a black and grey facemask or scarf, a grey fleece and blue T-shirt.

The woman had blonde hair and glasses, and wore a blue facemask, puffer jacket, pink scarf, a white handbag and a black shoulder bag.

In a statement Sussex Police said: “Do you recognise this man and woman?

“We would like to speak to them about the theft of stock worth around £100 from Runcton Farm Shop, Lagness Road, Chichester, on Thursday, December 10.

“Items were taken from the pet food warehouse and the site’s main shop. Police investigating the theft believe the man and woman pictured could help with their enquiries.

“The couple are thought to be in their 50s and had a terrier dog with them. The man had short brown/grey hair and was wearing a brown fleece. The woman had shoulder length hair, was wearing glasses and carrying a shoulder bag.”
