The message also urged patients not to contact the NHS to seek a vaccine and that they will be contacted once they are eligible.
Vaccinations are being prioritised, with those most at risk of complications from Covid-19 being offered the vaccine first.
A phased roll out is currently underway with care home residents and those 80-years of age and over being offered the vaccination first, along with frontline health and social care workers.
Hospital hub vaccination services in Sussex were launched at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton on 8th December 2020.
Brighton and Hove Healthwatch is also warning people to be aware of fraudulent calls and text messages offering the Covid-19 vaccination.
