AS KEY workers, the retail workers and their distribution and driver colleagues have kept the country fed.
By nature of their work they also mix with the most people.
Hence it is vital that the government intervenes to ensure these key workers are offered the Oxford University vaccine promptly and at accessible venues like their own workplaces.
After all many retail workers do not drive.
The government needs to intervene to ensure such a policy applies across the whole UK out of equality of UK citizenship.
I have a great many good retail colleagues in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Retail operations are very much UK-wide operations involving much travel, including across the Irish Sea.
Sussex MPs and peers may care to raise this vital issues in Parliament on behalf of retail workers as key workers and on behalf of society at large.
