A MAN has been arrested after a boy was stabbed in the arm.

The 15-year-old was attacked in Seaside, Eastbourne, shortly before 1pm.

A 30-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

He remains in custody.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "At 12.47pm police were called to a report that a boy aged 15 had been stabbed in the arm at Seaside, Eastbourne.

"His condition is not assessed as life-threatening.

"A man aged 30 has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.
