I SPENT several minutes walking around my local area yesterday trying to find a container that I could deposit my bag of recycling into (I visited four streets).
I am in my seventies, and am unable to store much recycling in my flat.
I reluctantly deposited my bag of recycling into an ordinary rubbish container as all the recycling containers were full.
It doesn’t help when some people don’t bother to flatten cardboard boxes as that takes up a lot of space.
If the council want us to recycle all that we can, they will have to empty the containers more frequently.
Perhaps an advert in The Argus would help to re-educate some people to recycle in a more understanding way.
