A MAN has been charged after a boy was stabbed in a brazen daylight attack.

The 15-year-old suffered a serious arm injury in an assault outside an address in Seaside, Eastbourne, shortly before 1pm on Monday.

The boy remains in hospital but police say his injuries are "not assessed as life threatening or life changing".

The unemployed 30-year-old appeared in custody at Brighton Magistrates' Court yesterday afternoon charged with causing grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 9.
