Police have arrested two people after an attempted robbery on a driver in St Leonards
TWO people have been arrested after a driver’s car window was smashed in an attempted robbery.
The incident happened shortly before 3.25pm on Friday, January 8, in Warrior Square, St Leonards.
The victim reported that a number of people had approached his car, and one had a large knife.
Police arrested a 19-year-old woman in Bexhill and a 20-year-old man in St Leonards on suspicion of robbery. They have been released on bail, pending enquiries.
Anyone who saw what happened or has any other information is urged to call police on 101, quoting serial 712 of 08/01.
