PEOPLE are being urged to keep their distance from a convicted robber who breached his prison release licence.

Anyone who sees Kesley Searle is being told to call 999 immediately, with a £500 reward also on offer for information which leads to his arrest.

The 26-year-old was released from prison on licence last November, part-way through a sentence for robbery.

But he is now sought by the probation service after breaching the conditions under which he was released.

Sussex Police took up the search and issued a public appeal for Searle's whereabouts last month.

Now, with the Hastings man still at large, the force has offered a £500 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Detective Inspector Daniel Dugan of Hastings CID said: "If you see Searle, do not approach him, just dial 999.

"If you have any information which could help us find him, contact us online or ring 101 quoting Sussex serial 508 of 22/11."

Searle is white, 5ft 6in tall and of medium build, with blond hair and blue eyes.

He is known to spend time in the Hastings and Eastbourne areas.
