THERE is concern for the welfare of a missing man last seen at Birling Gap almost two weeks ago.
Pekka Antonnen had travelled to the UK from Finland and is now believed to be in the Eastbourne area.
The 37-year-old is known to have taken a taxi from Chichester to Birling Gap on Sunday, January 10.
He was last seen at Birling Gap that morning, and Sussex Police say they are concerned for his welfare.
The force has now issued a public appeal for information on his whereabouts, including an image and description of Pekka.
He is white, 6ft 6in tall and of medium build with shaved, short brown hair.
He may be wearing black joggers and a black padded jacked, police say.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Anyone who sees him or who has information on his whereabouts is urged to report online or call 101, quoting 442 of 16/01."
