THIS is what you can expect to happen when you arrive at the Brighton Centre to be vaccinated.

The mass vaccination site, which opened on Monday, is one of 32 that opened across the country this week.

In a walkthrough guide published on YouTube, Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust gives patients a look inside the largest vaccination centre in Sussex.

The video is narrated by Rosanna Raven, the immunisation clinical service manager for the county, who explains how the vaccination process will work.

On arriving, patients will be greeted by a marshal, who will guide them through the "whole process".

You will be asked a series of questions, including if you have a history of anaphylactic reaction to any vaccines previously.

You will then be moved to the upper auditorium where you'll be given the jab.

In the video, Rosanna Raven says: "It is really important that everyone arrives on time for their appointment.

"We have a limited amount of space in the centre if we're are going to maintain good social distancing.

"We've done a lot of planning to make sure you can come through and be in and out the building within a half-hour of your appointment."

Elsewhere in the South East, a vaccination centre opened at Harlow Leisure zone in Essex, another at Oxford Kassam Stadium and one at Southampton Clinical Commissioning Group’s offices.

On the South Coast, a vaccination site has opened at the Brighton Centre and one at Debenhams, Folkestone.

The new centres will mean there is a network of 49 mass vaccination sites across England.

There are also 70 pharmacies offering the jab, as well as more than 1,000 GP surgeries and 250 hospitals.
