THE FIRE service is at the scene of an emergency in Peacehaven.

At least three East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service trucks are attending the incident in South Coast Road.

In the video taken this morning, a crane can be seen on its stabilisers, moving its beam towards a window above an estate agents.

The window appears to have been removed, in what a passerby has called a "medical evacuation."

A stretcher can also be seen waiting next to one of the fire trucks.

One lane of the a259 has also been cordoned off, as the fire service attends the emergency.
