I WAS amused to see your article the other day about Banksy artwork adding thousands to Sussex properties.

In fact I'm always amused by how many people have an obsession with anything concerning Banksy.

What does his street art have over many others, arguably as good or better at showing off their imagination and skill? Maybe he has a very good publicity agent while others just enjoy their art.

I'm certainly no conspiracy theorist but does he really exist? Just consider the facts - how has he remained anonymous for so long in these days of social media where people post pictures of anything trivial or unusual?

Some of the artwork is so big and complex that it must have taken days, necessitating access equipment blocking pavements and roads.

Has no one ever questioned why someone is spending a lot of time painting on a part of their property?

There must be more to all this than a single person supposedly called Banksy, probably a large team including a legal enforcer to ensure secrecy and all collectively known as Banksy.

So I'm continually bemused by what this whole thing is really about, and amused by those who longingly obsess about the man himself.
