He made is television debut in BBC Two teen series The Cut and starred in Disney Channel series The Lodge between 2016-17, before landing a role in Bridgerton.

For those who have not seen the show yet, Bridgerton is a witty, romantic drama about eight siblings looking for love and happiness, inspired by Julia Quinn's bestselling novels.

More than 82 million households have tuned in to watch the series in its first month and it has now been renewed for a second season.

In an interview with ABC News, Luke said that he was looking forward to seeing how his character developed in the second series.

He said: “I'm excited to explore how Colin grows up a bit, because he's still naive and innocent and he's got a lot of learning to do.”

While the show is set almost entirely in London, Brighton’s Theatre Royal was used as a filming location for a concert scene in episode seven of the show.

The Grade II listed theatre is one of the oldest and most distinguished in the country, making it a perfect backdrop for the glamorous drama.

Since 1807, the theatre has put on array of productions and had many famous names grace its stage.

In a Facebook post, the theatre told viewers to keep their eyes peeled for its feature.

It read: “Our wonderful theatre may be ‘dark’ but rest assured even when we’re closed we’re never really empty!

“Anyone spotted us in the brilliant new Netflix series 'Bridgerton'? (No Spoillers!) This was filmed in December 2019 so look out for our beautiful venue.”

Bridgerton is available to stream on Netflix now.
