A CARER was killed when she was hit by a train.

An inquest has been opened after Patrova Dale's death on the afternoon of Thursday, January 28.

The 44-year-old was struck by a train at Three Bridges railway station.

At Crawley Coroner's Court yesterday, the inquest heard emergency services were called to the scene at about 5.30pm, but Patrova was confirmed to have died.

The full inquest is due to take place at the court on July 28.
