CHANNEL 5 has confirmed that its hit medical show Skin A&E is returning for a second season – and it is searching for participants.

The doors to the Skin A&E clinic are opening again and its team of top dermatologists are looking to offer people in Sussex a free consultation.

In the show’s first series, medics treated people with a range of conditions, including a man with a golf-ball sized lipoma on his stomach and a man with multiple, explosive cysts on his back.

The team is prepared to see patients with a range of conditions.

Channel 5 want applicants to come forward who have been told that their condition cannot be treated on the NHS, are on a long waiting list for treatment or have experienced delays in their treatment.

As well providing treatment, the series also reflects on how living with a skin condition can affect quality of life and impact on the mental health of patients.

Applicants who are picked must be willing to talk openly and frankly about their condition and be available for filming for one day in April or May 2021.

All applicants must be legal residents of the UK, currently live in the UK and be aged 18 and above.
