PEOPLE from across the world have applied to star in a new blockbuster film alongside Harry Styles.
Talent agency Extra People announced that it was looking for men and women in Brighton to apply to be an extra in a “period feature film set in the 1950s and 1990s.”
While the agency did not name the production specifically, the description listed on its website matches My Policeman – in which Harry will play a starring role.
Fans of the former One Director star flocked to the website in the hope it would lead to an opportunity for them to meet their hero.
On social media, people from as far afield as the United States and Australia said they were planning to send in an application.
One fan wrote: “You don’t even need to ask me if I’m applying – it’s already done.”

Another tweeted: “I’m moving to Brighton. No clue where that is but it sounds nice.”
But some fans expressed their disappointment at not being able to apply for a role.
A fan wrote: “Why, why, why do I not live in England?”
While another said: “I already hated living in America but this just tops it.”
Work on the movie is set to begin in April, with locations across Brighton and Hove expected to be used for filming.
Harry will play the role of Tom, the police officer from the title.
The agency has said no experience needed, but anyone who applies must be prepared to start filming at 6am and have a great work ethic and professional attitude.
Applicants must fill out an online application and attach full body photographs.
The Amazon Studios drama is based on Bethan Roberts’s 2012 novel of the same name.
The action takes place across the 1950s and the 1990s, with the arrival of an elderly invalid named Patrick bringing up secrets from the past.
