A POLICE officer has been charged with making threats to kill.
Brighton PC Ian Noakes is alleged to have made threats to kill two people who he knew while off duty on Saturday, 9 January.
The 41-year-old also faced a charge of preventing the course of justice when he appeared at Lewes Crown Court on Friday.
He will next appear on June 28 at a court yet to be decided.
PC Noakes has been suspended from duties while the investigation is ongoing.
