LUKE OVERTON
Aged 23, of East Street, Lancing, admitted affray with a knife at Southwick Railway Station where a person fell onto the tracks. Jailed for four weeks with a £122 surcharge.
ALEC HOWLETT
Aged 51, of Angmering Park, admitted driving while banned in a Mercedes and driving without insurance. Given 18-week suspended sentence after two previous breaches of a driving ban. To do 80 hours of unpaid work, 25 rehabilitation days and 19 Thinking Skills sessions. To pay a £128 surcharge and £85 costs. Banned for five years.
KELVYN FURMINGER
Aged 54, of Brighton Road, Southgate, admitted assaulting a PC, threatening or abusive behaviour, harassment likely to provoke fear of immediate violence and possession of cannabis. Jailed for eight weeks and to pay £100 compensation.
JAMES HOLLINGSWORTH
Aged 37 of Fishbourne, admitted assaulting a man in Chichester. Jailed for four weeks and to pay £75 compensation.
JAMES GOLDING
Aged 40, of Market Passage, St Leonards, found guilty of criminal damage to a phone, stealing a bank card, and stealing £3,200. Jailed for 36 weeks, told to pay £3,200 compensation and put under a restraining order.
AARON BARRETT
Aged 30, of North Road, Brighton, admitted driving while banned and without insurance in an Audi in Henfield. Given a 26-week suspended sentence, a four-month curfew from 7pm to 7am, £128 surcharge and £85 costs.
GARY MURPHY
Aged 51, of Marine Parade, Eastbourne, admitted assaulting an ambulance technician and a PC in Cambridge. Given a 12-week suspended sentence and to pay £200 compensation.
MICHAEL JONES
Aged 26, of Gravits Lane, Bognor, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order three times. Jailed for 16 weeks with a £128 surcharge.
JASON PARTER
Aged 35, of The Hydneye, Eastbourne, admitted assaulting a worker at Lewes Railway Station and damaging an iPhone. Given a 16-week suspended sentence, to pay £300 compensation and to do 20 rehabilitation sessions.
THUSHAKARAN THURAIRAJAH
Aged 37, of Gales Drive, Crawley, admitted fraud by skimming cards at an ATM machine for bank details and PIN number. Given a 12-week suspended sentence. To do 80 hours unpaid work, 25 rehabilitation sessions, £128 surcharge and £85 costs.
ADAM MOXON
Aged 25, of Stonehurst Drive, St Leonards, admitted breaching a restraining order and criminal damage that left the victim “terrified”. Jailed for six months with a £128 surcharge.
JEROME ANICET
Aged 35, of Harlands Road, Haywards Heath, admitted assaulting a woman and a PC, and resisting arrest in one incident, and threatening or abusive behaviour at Littlehampton Railway Station in another. Jailed for eight weeks for the first crimes, and six weeks for the second set. To pay £100 compensation, £128 surcharge and £125 costs.
DAVID SKIPTON
Aged 39, of Elms Avenue, Eastbourne, found guilty of assaulting a man by spitting at a victim with an underlying health condition and failing to show up to court. Given a 12-week suspended sentence and ordered to pay £300 compensation.
