POLICE were called to a seafront road following a medical incident and concerns for the welfare of a woman in a car.
Officers were seen in Madeira Drive, Brighton, at 11.30am this morning.
There were two force cars and several officers stationed in the area.
Witnesses said representatives from HM Coroner Brighton and Hove had also attended the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Just after 10am on Friday, March 5, Sussex Police attended Madeira Drive, Brighton, in relation to a medical incident and concerns for the welfare of a woman inside a car.
"No further details at this stage."
