PLANS to trial a booking system at six West Sussex rubbish tips have been approved.
The system was given the nod yesterday and is expected to come online in the next few weeks.
It will be used at Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Shoreham, Worthing, Crawley and Hop Oast, Horsham.
Residents will be able to book one visit per week up to 14 days in advance.
There will be a set number of slots allocated per half hour.
Booking should be up and running in the week commencing March 15.
However, the system will not go live until March 29.

Councillors have the option to call for further discussions.
The scheme will be used for six months at the household waste recycling sites.
A notice issued by the county council confirmed that scheme could be varied, expanded or even suspended if things went wrong during this time.
