A WALKING vigil for Sarah Everard is set to take place in a park tomorrow.

The "Ring of Light" will be a socially distanced slow walk around the ring of the Level in Brighton at 6pm.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lights, candles or torches and groups are not to stop in one place, to keep within government Covid-19 guidelines.

A spokeswoman for the event said: "The Ring of Light is a socially distanced and peaceful walking vigil for Sarah Everard and people affected by domestic abuse.
